GOAL:
• To provide equitable access for all technology users that enables them to use, collaborate, and communicate from a variety of technologies in a learning environment.
• To create and maintain a secure networking environment
ACTIVITY:
• Develop district wide standards for computer hardware and software.
• Computer hardware/software follows a replacement cycle.
• Infrastructure should support access requirements (prioritize schools that are not scheduled for renovation)
• Staff development encourages integration of technology into district curriculum
• Transition from school to school, including administration offices, should be transparent and build on unification of district technology goals.
• Develop a password convention with security in mind
